Mimi 3.2.2 Released

This release is for maintenance.  There have been some reported crashes and one was especially bad.  I got this release out to fix the crashes and do some updates to the thread layout.  Nothing too drastic has changed, but the app should be more stable now.

Hey Eli, I’m not exactly sure where to contact you in regards to suggestions so I’ll just throw this here. I love mimichan, a lot. However it’s missing one key feature that I feel is detracting from my user experience: text wrapping. Once I scroll past a thumbnail, the text still stays to the right, wasting a huge amount of screen estate, especially in landscape mode. I know coding is not done by magic, but I would really appreciate it if you would look into this. Thank you.

    You added in relative timestamps.

Major issue here, now I won’t know if a post was made an hour and minute ago or hour and 59 minutes ago.

Add in an option to change this.

It’s not a big change for me. I guess it’s all relative. I’ll add an option in the next release to enable or disable relative timestamps.

Love the app but just to let you know, i can zoom in on pics when they are landscape but when i zoom in pics that are portrait it goes whackadoodle. Like the apps canvas expands but the pic snaps back to the same small size.

Thanks for the report. That’s a new one for me. I’ll get started working through all of these weird image gallery bugs soon.

Hi Eli. Just wanted to let you know that the “Maximum thread tabs” option is not working. I try setting it to 1 to effectively disable this feature so when I press back on my phone, it goes back to the board I was browsing and not to the thread on the next tab along. Instead, it’s still keeping more than 1 thread tab open and i’m pressing back repeatedly to get back to the board.

    Thanks

Thank you for the report. I’ll take a look at the max threads option.

In the meantime, you can slide out the sidebar and press “Home” to get back to the boards.
