Potential fix for captcha images not showing

One of my three updates yesterday contained a fix to the captcha images not showing in the post dialog. This leads to not being able to post unless you have a 4chan pass account. Hopefully my fix takes care of the problem, but I also found an app setting that could affect the captcha image.  In my own testing, I noticed that threads seemed to load faster as well.

On 4.0+ devices, open settings and General.  On pre-4.0 devices, just open settings.  Scroll down to Advanced and tap Socket Timeout.  Change the value to 15 seconds and close settings.

If you’re still having problems, try 20 seconds.  If problems continue, then this post was pointless and served no purpose.

I didn’t forget. It’s just not worth the time right now. None of my fixes actually fixed any of the major problems people are having. The good news is that I found a device where the captcha isn’t loading. It turns out that Mimi doesn’t play nice with Sprint. I’m working on a fix now.
